Steve Cooley (GDC no. 62749)BDS DPDS
The team is led by experienced general dental practitioner Steve Cooley BDS DPDS. Steve qualified from the Charles Clifford Dental School, Sheffield University in 1987. He obtained the degree of Bachelor of Dental Surgery, and additionally the final year awards in Restorative Dentistry, Periodontology and Oral Surgery. In 1997, Steve completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Child Dental Health and Restorative Dental Care at Bristol University. Steve keeps up to date by attending educational courses and seminars. He is registered with the General Dental Council – Number 62749

Sarah Fancourt (GDC no. 79574) BDS
Sarah qualified as a General Dentist in 2001 at the University of Wales College of Medicine. Sarah completed her vocational training in Northampton and worked for a year at Birmingham Dental and Children's Hospitals in the Paediatric Dental, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Departments. Sarah also worked as a Dental Foundation Trainer supporting and supervising newly qualified dentists during their first year of work.
Rob Cope (GDC no. 68088) BDS
Rob qualified from Birmingham University as a General Dentist in 1992. He went on to train in implant techniques in 1999 and has gained extensive experience in placing and restoring implants, bone grafting and performing sinus lifts. The treatments he has completed during this time include a wide variety of cases from single tooth implant restorations to more complicated full arch implant-retained dentures. Rob now limits his work to implant procedures.
Anjali Mehta (GDC no. 211323) BDS MFDS RCSEd MClinDent Periodontology
Anjali qualified in Dentistry from King’s College London in 2011. Going on to gain her MFDS RCSEd qualification. Having developed a special interest in Periodontal Disease, Anjali then chose to pursue further studies at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute to gain her MClinDent qualification in Periodontology in order to become a Periodontal Specialist. Anjali is an active member of the British Society of Periodontology and has attended numerous national and international conferences enabling her to continuously further her knowledge in the latest Periodontal developments and research.
Kezia Harris (GDC no. 252596) Diploma in Dental Hygiene and Therapy
Kezia worked as a Dental Nurse before deciding to become a Dental Hygienist. She qualified from the University of Sheffield as a Hygienist in 2018. Since then she has gained a broader experience in the treatment of patients, giving oral hygiene advice and supporting our dentists and specialists.
Carina Kong (GDC no. 110381) LMD MClinDent Endodontology MRD RCS Eng
Carina trained in Endodontics at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute in London where she was awarded a Masters of Clinical Dentistry (MClindent) in Endodontics. She subsequently attained a Membership in Restorative Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and is currently registered on the Endodontics Specialist List. Carina is well experienced in the management of complex cases.
Manish Patel (GDC no. 76251)
BDS (ULond), MFDSRCS (Eng), MClinDent (Prosthodontics), MRDRCS (Eng), Specialist in Prosthodontics
Manish Patel received his Masters Degree in Clinical Dentistry in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics with distinction in 2008 and in 2009 he was entered into the Prosthodontic Specialist List after completing the Membership in Restorative Dentistry examination at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Sonam graduated from Goa Dental College in 2012 after which she worked as a House Surgeon in the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics for a period of one year.
She has spent several years providing general dental care to patients in the UK as well as abroad. She aims at providing high quality dental treatment to her patients in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Simon qualified from Guy’s Hospital, University of London in 1987. He completed his postgraduate surgical training and obtained his accreditation as a Specialist Oral Surgeon in 1999. He currently works as part of a team of highly skilled oral surgeons at Stoke Mandeville Hospital and also provides oral surgery services at Waddesdon Dental.
Simon is the Regional Advisor for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and a member of the British Association of Oral Surgeons. He is registered with the General Dental Council – Number 62955
Hugo Grancho Pinto (GDC no. 233627)
LMD (Lisbon), MSc (Lisbon), Specialist Training Periodontology and Implants (Lisbon)
Hugo qualified as a General Dentist in 2004 at Lisbon University. He completed a 3-year Specialist Training Programme in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry in Lisbon in 2011 and went on to be awarded a Diploma in Clinical Periodontology from Gothenberg University. Hugo has gained valuable experience in his field over a number of years, working initially in Portugal and in the UK since 2013. Hugo also works at The University of Manchester as a Clinical Lecturer.
Rachel Manning (GDC no. 62894)
BDS, FDSRCS, PhD, MRD(Perio)RCS
Rachel qualified as a General Dentist in 1987 at Guy’s Hospital, London. After completing a PhD at Liverpool University, she went on to gain her FDS and MRD qualifications at Guy’s Hospital, becoming a Periodontal Specialist in 2000. As well as providing periodontal treatment, Rachel has 15 years’ experience of placing and restoring implants. Rachel also maintains her interest in general restorative dentistry.
Dr Etienne Deysel MBChB (Pret) PDD.SED (Stel)
Etienne gained his MBChB from the University of Pretoria South Africa, in 1989 and spent ten years in general practice. He was involved with two anaesthetic day clinics and two private A&E Units whilst in South Africa.
Since qualifying, further training includes Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Paediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support and Immediate Life Support.
In 2003 Etienne was awared the PDD.SED (Post Graduate Qualification on Sedation and Pain Control) from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa.
He is registered with the GMC (registration number 4562333) and South African Health Professions Council. He is a member of the Society of Concious Sedationists UK and the Society for the Advancement of Analgesia in Dentistry.
After leaving school Jenny trained and worked as a Dental Nurse. She loved the preventative side of dentistry and began to realise that giving the right advice to a patient can make a huge difference to their oral health. This interest motivated her to embark upon the Dental Hygiene course at Essex University.
Jenny has a gentle approach to treating patients which fits perfectly with the caring ethos of MK Dental Spa. She prefers to get to know her patients and says that she “treats the patient as a whole person, not just a mouth”.
